Imphal, December 07 2017: One scooterist was killed when a tipper truck rammed a Honda Activa at Sagoltongba along Imphal-Jiribam highway at around 7 am today .

Laikangbam Ibotombi (60) of Sagoltongba was riding a Honda Activa from a street toward the highway when he was knocked down by the truck which was heading towards Imphal .

It is reported that Ibotombi was killed on the spot .

While police have seized the truck, a case has been registered at Patsoi police station .

Meanwhile the victim's body has been handed over to family members after post mortem at RIMS.
