Three HPC (D) LK Hmar faction insurgent apprehended

CCpur, September 07 2021: Loktak Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) in a joint operation with Manipur Police apprehended three active insurgents of proscribed group HPC (D) LK Hmar Faction in Churachandpur on September 5 .

Based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles along with Manipur Police launched an operation which led to the apprehension, said a statement of IGAR(S) .

The apprehended insurgents have been handed over to Churachandpur Police Station for further investigation.
