Kangpokpi, September 07 2014: Like every year, Kukis will observe 'Sahnit Ni- Black Day' on September 13, a press statement informed.

As per the resolution taken up by Kuki Inpi Manipur on the observation of Sahnit Ni, every block Inpi are required to inform concerned villages to observe the day, said Thangminlen Haokip, Information & Publicity Secretary, Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills.

Thangminlen Haokip further pointed out that the Kukis observed Black Day deliver justice to all the victims of NSCN (IM) attack in the early nineties.

During the NSCN (IM)'s systematic attack launched in 1992 and 1993, about 1,000 innocent Kukis were killed and 360 villages uprooted, displacing nearly one lakh villagers, Haokip informed.

No justice, however, has been delivered to the victim till date.
