Imphal, November 06 2012: A health check-up camp for rural farmers was conducted today at Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Shanglen, Pungdongbam, Imphal East by the College of Agriculture, CAU Imphal.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr N Iboton Singh, Dean, College of Agriculture said the medical camp was conducted for the first time under the supervision of the VC of CAU.

The camp was organised to detect any illness or weakness of farmers, including women, so that they get proper and timely treatment of their illness.

Around 200 farmers have took part in the camp.

Medicines were also provided to them free of cost.
