Imphal, December 05 2024: The Leikol (Leimarol Khorjeikol), Imphal has named noted author BM Maisnamba for the Chongtham Bimalabasanta Award 2024 in recognition of his invaluable contribution in the field of Manipuri literature.

As per a press release issued by Leikol, the lifetime achievement award comes with a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a citation and a shawl.

The award distribution ceremony will be held on December 15 at the Old Assembly building.
