Imphal, August 04 2021: An inmate of Glory Children Home at Thamnapokpi in Bishnupur district was found dead on his bed today.

As per a report from Moirang police, the deceased is a 17 year old boy, studying at Class IX in a nearby private school.

His fellow inmates had tried to woke him up at around 6.40 am today but there was no response from him.

A team from Moirang PS and a team from Forensic Science Laboratory visited the home investigation.

The body has been kept at RIMS mortuary for post-mortem examination.
