Imphal, June 04 2020: The Directorate of Health Services has ordered that suspected and asymptomatic COVID-19 cases are to be admitted in the isolation wards of the District Hospitals and sub-district hospitals with immediate effect.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the Director of Health Services, State Surveillance Officer, team leader and members of the isolation wards, said a statement issued by the Director of Health Services.

It also directed all CMOs (Chief Medical Officers) and Medical Superintendents to comply with the order with immediate effect.
