Imphal, June 04 2014: The two day Edu-Expo 2014 organised by LRS India (Events and Exhibition Management Services) drew to a close today at Lamyanba Shanglen.

Speaking at the closing function, manager of LRS India, Dr L Robindro Singh said that the main purpose of holding the Edu-Expo was to sensitise the young students who want to pursue their studies outside Manipur in courses such as Engineering, Medical and others.

Examinations were also conducted for those who have recently passed the Class XII Board exams as well as for those studying in Class XII for availing scholarship in different subjects.

On the first day about 700 students sat for the examination while on the second day the number rose to 1000, he added.

About 30 stalls from different 15 States were opened during the two day event.
