Noney, September 03 2018: Women folks of Nongnang Village took out a public peace rally to protest against the gun fight between ZUF cadre and NSCN-IM that broke out at Tazikram, Longrang (Nongnang) village under Khoupum police station at around 1 pm yesterday amidst Thanksgiving Celebration that caused panic and apprehension among the denizens of Nongnang village.

Various slogans "Village area is not a War Place, Go away NSCN-IM & ZUF from Village Area", "We want peaceful atmosphere, we want normal life" were raised during the protest rally.
