Imphal, January 03 2014 : The Golden jubilee of Citizens' Club, Moirang was celebrated today at Moirang.

The programme was attended by Parliamentary Secretary, Mairembam Prithviraj Singh; Ex-president of Citizens' Club, Konjengbam Maipak Singh; Vice-Chairperson of Moirang Municipal Council as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Unveiling of Golden Jubilee stone, observance of one-minute silence as a mark of respect to departed club members, presentation of gifts to founding members and presentation of cultural items marked the programme, according to a statement.

It added that a musical extravaganza was also organised in the evening.
