Imphal, February 02 2016: Although dry season has arrived, the Loktak Hydro-power Project is generating 105 MW of power daily and enough water is re- served for use during the dry season.

Chief Engineer and CEO of Loktak Downstream Project, Bedi Ram reportedly informed the Chief Secretary to- day during a meeting.

The two officials also discussed about the NHPC-Manipur Govt joint venture of digging 5.5 km long tunnel for generation of 66 MW power, according to an official source.
