Imphal / Thoubal, January 02 2014: One pedestrian and a motor-cylist were killed after the motor-cylist knocked down the pedestrian at Ningombam Lamkhai, Imphal West district under Singjamei police station last afternoon.

The deceased pedestrian has been identified as Khumanthem Kheda (57) of Ghari and the motor-cylist is one Laishram Loken (47) of Utlou Mamang Leikai.

In another road accident which took place near YK College, Wangjing along Imphal-Moreh highway at around 4.30 pm yesterday, a man riding a Kinetic Zoom was killed while his wife and daughter escaped with injuries after they were rammed by a Santro car.

The deceased has been identified as Ningthoujam Romen (32) s/o N Ibomcha of Samaram.

Thoubal Police have registered a case in this connection apart from seizing the car.
