Medical camp, painting competition held

Imphal, October 31 2021: Chassad Battalion of IGAR (S) conducted a medical camp at Aishi and Kongkhan villages in Kamjong district on Sunday.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the camp was organised to promote awareness about COVID-19 appropriate behaviour & extended requisite medical assistance to the rural population of adjoining villages.

A total of 85 villagers were benefitted from the camp, it added.

On the other hand, Khoupum Battalion of IGAR (S) organised a painting competition as part of 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' campaign at N Khullen village in Bishnupur district on Sunday.

The competition was conducted to promote overall development of the children and it witnessed enthusiastic participation by 17 children of the village, the PRO said, adding that the event culminated with a prize distribution ceremony.
