Imphal, October 31 2014 : A book titled 'Manglan khara, Saktam khara' written by Khundongbam Gokulchandra was released today at Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Paona keithel under the aegis of Rinda Publications, Rinda Library and Preservation Foundation, Manipur, Sagolband Khamnam Leirak.

The writer is Associate Professor and Head, Dept of Philosophy, DM College of Arts.

He is also the general secretary of MSP, Imphal.

The release function was attended by Prof Nongmaithem Tombi, former president of MSP and Dr Ahanthem Dorendra, former Principal of DMCA as the chief guest and president respectively.

Meanwhile, a collection of poems, 'Eigi Leikangla' written by Prof Chungkham Yasobanta will be released on Nov 2 at Manipur Sahitya Parisad Hall.

Prof N Tombi, Prof Polem Nabachandra Singh and Longjam Joychandra would attend the release programme.
