Imphal, October 31 2012: A team of Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) led by its chairperson Dr L Ibetombi Devi visited the residence of (L) Huirem Mona Devi (25) d/o H Nando at Ucheckon Khunou, Imphal East district today.

The MSCW team included members June Rose Vaiphei, Mazida Khan, H Piteshwori Devi and member secretary S Meghachandra Sharma.

The team has an interaction with the family members of the deceased, Mona.

JAC members presented the detailed accounts of the circumstances leading to the death of Mona to the Commission's team, a statement issued by the MSCW informed.

At the same time, the MSCW has decided to initiate a case against those culprits involved in the case, it added.
