Imphal, August 30 2014 : The Bank office construction at Kasom Khullen Headquarter undertaken by Canning Keishing on the recommendation of local MLA Victor Keishing has failed to reach the expected standard, according to a statement issued by the Mandal president of Bharatiya Janata Party manipur Pradesh, 43 AC, Phungyar, Ukhrul district.

The first floor and other areas of the building has started to crack and would collapse if not reconstructed immediately, the statement said.

CM O Ibobi inspected the building, while it was under construction, during the flag off ceremony of Thoubal to Kasom Khullen road construction on June 13 this year.

It further added that the recently executed black-topping of the approach road to the bank office has started to chip off.

Considering the required attention and negligence of the department concerned, the statement said that developmental works initiated in Phungyar Assembly Constituency will be vigilantly inspected.
