Imphal, February 28 2016: In a suspected murder case, a teenage boy Md Rafique (16) s/o Md Abdur Rashid of Sora Ching Wangma under Kak-ching police station was found dead on Feb 25 at around 4 pm at Hawairou Mairenban Khongjao.

A class IX student of Slopeland Public School, Rafique was reported to have gone to a farm at Sora Loushi-pat located about 3 Kms away from his residence, according to Md Sahidur president, JAC against the killing of Md Rafique.

Addressing media persons today at Manipur Press Club, Sahidur said that the body was found one kilometre away from the farm.

The body bore injury marks suspected to be caused by sharp objects.

The body was retrieved by Kakching police and deposited at JNIMS morgue for post-mortem examination.

Following the incident, the JAC was formed to seek justice, he said.

Sahidur further stated that the JAC is set to launch series of agitation if the State Government fails to book the culprits involved in the killing of Md Rafique by 10 am of Feb 28 .
