Bishnupur, April 26 2018: All Bishnupur District Working Journalist Union (ABDWJU) celebrated its first foundation day at the union's office in Mini Secretariat complex, B Block today.

ABDWJU president Y Somananda, vice president Dr H Romen Singh, secretary A Kishankumar, treasurer K Pabitra Singh and other members of the union were present in the celebration.

The union also organised its annual meeting where steps on improving and developing the union were deliberated.

The union's uniform were distributed to its members while the members further resolved to affiliate the union to All Manipur Working Journalist Union.

President Y Somananda urged all the members as well as people who come to Mini Secretariat complex to maintain a clean environment by disposing the garbage at the garbage bins.
