Imphal, January 25 2023: With an aim to foster spirit of patriotism in the youth, Modi Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a weapon display for students of Assam Rifles Public School, Pallel on Tuesday as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Pre - Republic Day celebrations.

According to PRO IGAR- (S), the weapons displayed included Medium machine guns, 51mm mortars, assault rifles, pistols, night vision devices and binoculars.

The students enthusiastically participated in the display and were briefed of their specifications by the troops of Modi Battalion.

A total of 203 students and 18 teachers attended the event, added the PRO.
