Imphal, September 24 2017: Namthangjang Rongmei Village Authority members has denied the claim made by Area organised of Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM), Noney Area before the news media and added that an understanding has been reached with the villagers of Namthangjang regarding the land dispute of the village .

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, K Thangonglung said that none of the villagers attended the meeting held at Hotel Imphal as claimed by Kahodin Kamei in presence of State Disaster Management Authority Manipur vice chairman, Adim Pamei, SDO, Kangchup Galjang and Head Clerk Kangchup Galjang.

He further stated that Kahodin has no authority to report anything regarding the meeting which was held at Khongling village before the meeting at Imphal Hotel .

He also appealed to the authority concerned to intervene and take up necessary actions against Kahodin at the earliest.
