Thoubal, April 24 2019: To commemorate the martyrs who lost their lives in the Anglo-Manipur war, fought between Kingdom of Manipur and British Empire, Association for Peace Memorial Arts and Rural Development Services (APMARDS) has observed Khongjom Day at its auditorium at Wangkhem, Thoubal district yesterday.

During the observance, several dignitaries, APMARDS' members and local populace paid floral tribute at the statue of Paona Brajabashi, said a statement of APMARDS secretary, K Hemchand Sharma.
