AR celebrates 'Parakram Diwas' at Sajik Tampak

Imphal, January 24 2021: To commemorate Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's Birth Anniversary and to highlight his altruistic service to the Nation, troops of Assam Rifles celebrated Parakram Diwas at Sajik Tampak in Chandel District of Manipur today.

The event was aimed at motivating the youth and inspiring them to act with fortitude in the face of adversaries, said IGAR (S) in a statement.

During the event, a biopic movie on Azad Hind Fauj, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was screened for the locals of Kana valley, Khulmulen, Sajik Tampak and nearby villages.

52 villagers including children attended the event voluntarily, it said .
