Ukhrul, June 22 2016: NPF aspirant candidate Er Leishiyo Keishing from 43 Phungyar AC today organized a one day public interaction at TTA hall Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.

L Keishing hails from Nambashi village Ukhrul un- der Kasom block.

He had resigned from CPWD and joined NPF party in June.

Speaking at the interaction programme, Leishiyo Keishing said he wishes to bring social, economic upliftment in society and pro- mote a feeling of oneness among the people.

NPF being a regional party was basically formed to safe- guard and protect the inherent rights of the tribals, he said.

Briefing media persons, he said that HAC must be re- vived in order to ensure tribals are well protected in the State.

Over 250 people of Phungyar Assembly Constituency attended the programme.
