Imphal, June 22 2011: Under the supervision of former Minister N Bihari, Khurai Block Mahila Congress Committee distributed rice to the people of Khurai Phaknung Awang Leikai at the subsidised rate of Rs 10 per kg today.

Khurai Block Congress Committee President Ch Manglemba said that about 57 quintals of rice has been kept in stock which would benefit around 270 families.

The Committee is also planning to distribute fertilizer and sugar in coming months, Manglemba further said.
