Imphal, August 21 2012: The screening/rehearsal for Manipur Pineapple Queen 2012 is scheduled to be held at Keishamthong Kabui Community Hall on August 22, from 10 am onwards.

The contest with the theme 'Beauty for Grassroots Development' is being organized by the Manipur Pineapple Festival Committee, Manipur as part of promotional campaign of pineapple in connection with the 5th State Level Manipur Pineapple Festival.

The contest is open to all eligible contestants between the age of 15 and 25.Application Form for the contest can be had on the same day at the spot on payment of Rs 500 .

All aspiring contestants must submit xerox copy of I Card issued by competent authority as Identity proof and photograph of 4x6 size on the same day.
