Imphal, March 21 2018: Noney Battalion under the aegis of Loktak Brigade, constructed a toilet block at Government High School, Charoi Chagotlong- II.

This effort is a continuation of the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' with a vision of clean Battalion area by October 2, 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, informed a press release from PIB Defence Wing issued to the press today.

The public utility project constructed under Military Civic Action Project was handed over to village authority in a function organised by school administration.

It was attended by a large number of students, teachers, villagers including village Chairman of Charoi Chagotlong II.

The event received an overwhelming response from the school administration, students, their parents and local populace.

While giving vote of thanks, the village Chairman expressed his gratitude, said the press release.
