Imphal, October 20 2016: Apparently unable to bear the pressure exerted on the reservation norms for admission to MU, Acting VC Prof Th Jekendra has resigned from the post today evening, said a reliable source.

Prof Jekendra is the second man to resign from the post after the then Acting VC M Dhaneshwor too resigned.
