Imphal, July 20 2022: Contributing towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, 44 Assam Rifles of 22 Sector AR/IGAR (East) dedicated a toilet block comprising two separate toilets to the veterans of Tamenglong.

According to PRO (Defence), the toilet block was constructed by the troops of Battalion using resources of the unit.

The block has separate toilets for both genders with intricate local bamboo craft work.

The very location of the block is adjacent to unit hospital and near to unit canteen.

It thus provides an easy access to locals and veterans visiting the unit hospital or canteen.
