Imphal, January 20 2019: As part of the continued endeavour of the Assam Rifles towards improving standard of living and providing basic facilities, Sajik Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) installed two solar street lights at Saisom village, Churachandpur district on January 17 under OP Sadbhavana Project 2018-19 .

The solar lights were well received by the local populace.

The villagers expressed their heart felt gratitude to the Assam Rifles, said a statement of IGAR (South) .
