Imphal, December 18 2015 : Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Manipur State today launched the campaign against communal tension at Lilong Turel Ahanbi Khongnang Makhong volley ball ground at 1.30 pm.

Wahidur Rahman, president SDPI Manipur, Rafi Shah, general secretary SDPI Manipur, Mufti Arshad Hussain, vice-president Popular Front of India Manipur State attended the programme as the presidium members.

The campaign's objective is to stop attacks on minorities, dalits, and backward classes.

The campaign also aims at uniting people to fight against communal forces which are trying to disturb and destabilize the country, according to a press release issued by the general secretary of SDPI, Manipur State.
