Imphal, December 18 2012: The Larong (Ralruwng) Khullen VA, Chandel district has appealed the Medical authority to initiate stern action against the staff of Larong PHSC for neglecting their duties for the last three years.

In a statement, the Chief/Chairman of Larong Khullen pointed out that no staff of the PHSC were seen although the health centre is equipped with adequate infrastructure and accommodations facility.

Being the only health centre for around 12/13 villages of the area near the Indo-Myanmar border who are prone to several illnesses like malaria, diarrhoea and dysentery, the service of the health centre is much needed and anticipated, the statement said.

As such, the VA urged the medical authority to take up stern action against the staff of the centre for failing the people and negligence of duty for the last three years.
