Snake bite victim saved

Imphal, November 18 2015:
Medical team of 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) saved the life of a snake bite victim on yesterday.
The victim named Mema Devi (60) of Heirok village, Thoubal district was bitten by a snake while farming and was immediately rushed to the unit hospital of 2 Assam Rifles, according to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S) .
The victim was attended by the medical team of Assam Rifles and necessary first aid was administered.
Later she was discharged after keeping her under observation for half an hour.
