Jiribam, August 18 2018: The All Jiribam Road Transport Driver Union (AJRTDU) Jiribam has decried the suspension of Leingangpokpi police outpost, Jiribam Sub Inspector T Prameshore Singh, following the burning and demolition of two Tata trucks and one Cruiser respectively, by some unknown individuals at Tupul and Old Kaiphundai on August 16, in connection with the bandh called by Zeliangrong Civil Organisations.

Speaking to media persons during a press meet held at Babupara, Jiribam today, AJRTDU secretary L Maniton stated that the union upon investigating, found out that the two Tata trucks and one Cruiser, passed through the outpost at around 8.30 am 9.30 am and another at 2.45 pm of August 13 .

The association has appealed the authority concerned to revoke the suspension of the SI, who was conducting his duty.
