Imphal, August 16 2013 : One Rifleman of 1st IRB posted at SBI Churachandpur SBI branch reportedly shot himself dead inside his barrack last night.

Rifleman P Basanta (26) of Thoubal Athokpam reportedly shot himself dead with his service SLR rifle inside the barrack at 8.10 pm.

Incidentally, top floor of the bank building serves as barrack for the IRB men posted there.
