Imphal, June 14 2014 : An understanding has been arrived between Editors' Guild Manipur and RIMS authority with RIMS Media Advisor L Iboyaima apologising the Guild for his 'rude' remarks made against some media houses of the State.

The understanding was arrived after Editors' Guild representatives and RIMS Director Prof S Sekharjit hold a meeting regarding the issue.

L Iboyaima has apologised the Guild through a written letter expressing regrets for his remarks.

N Phillip has been appointed as the new Media Advisor of RIMS.

As such, a special meeting of the Guild resolved to revoke its earlier stand and decided to carry press statements and news of RIMS.
