Imphal, March 14 2016: Staff of CMO, Imphal West including the CMO today staged a sit-in protest in front of Medical Directorate, Lamphelpat against the monetary demand of Rs 50 lakh served by a particular UG group to the CMO, Imphal West.

CMO of Imphal West, Dr H Kulla said that some persons who identified themselves as cadres of a particular UG group demanded Rs 50 lakh from the CMO office some 4-5 days back.

Saying that all the staff of the CMO are maintaining their families with their salaries, Dr Kulla urged the group concerned to withdraw their demand.
