Chandel, February 14 2017: Flood Victims' Demand Committee, Chandel (FVDC) during its meeting held today Chandel district HQs today said that the DC should be transferred if their demand to pay compensation to the flood victims cannot be fulfilled within one week.

In a statement, FVDC said that committee had called off its agitation last month following the DC's assurance to take up positive step.

So far, nothing has been done to address the grievances of the flood victims.
