Museum founder's 80th birth anniv held

Kakching, December 13 2024: The 80th birth anniversary of the founder of People's Museum Kakching, late Mayanglambam Gourachandra, was observed at the museum's campus in Kakching Paji Leikai, on Friday.

The anniversary event was attended by the museum's trust committee president Y Surchandra Singh, RIMS Department of Psychiatry former head Dr M Akhinikumar Singh, Angom Poireiton of Angom Utra Shanglen, Kakching Municipal Council caretaker councillors, scholars and others.

The attendees offered floral tributes to the photo of Mayanglambam Gourachandra as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
