Moirang, October 13 2024: The All Kwakta Youths Voluntary Organisation (AKYVO) publicly destroyed a large quantity of confiscated drugs today at 4.30 pm in Kwakta Bazar.

This act is a part of their ongoing efforts to combat drug use, which began in March of this year.

According to AKYVO, general secretary Chesabam Hanif Khan, the seized drugs valued at approximately 8 lakhs, included heroin, which had been concealed in nine kheini kouta and five soap cases.

Chesabam Hanif Khan called on residents in areas under AKYVO to refrain from drug use.

He also warned that those caught violating this will face legal consequences.
