Imphal, January 13 2015: On the occasion of Army Day, a blood donation camp was organised at Rangapahar Military Station, Dimapur today in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Dimapur under the aegis of Medical Branch, HQ 3 Corps.

According to a statement issued by the PRO (Defence), Imphal, the event was inaugurated by Maj Gen Deepak Saxena, VSM, Chief of Staff, HQ 3 Corps.

During the blood donation drive, 72 army personnel donated blood.

The blood will be used by Indian Red Cross Society for the benefit of the local civil population.
