Imphal, July 10 2014:
The Liangmai Naga Students' Union, Manipur and Nagaland, held a meeting and formed a Joint Action Committee to disapprove the allegations levelled against the former MP Mani Charenamai and the social boycott imposed against him by the United Naga Council, according to statement issued by D Anoibou Maremmai, Convernor, JAC.
The statement said that the allegations are irrelevant and scandalous.
It further added that it was an attempt to assassinate the character of the former MP and to defame him.
The statement also warned that the Committee wil seek legal remedy if the allegations are not expunged within this month.
