Union appeals to repair damaged dam

Noney, May 09 2018: Student Union Namkaolong, Khoupum Valley in a statement today appealed the State Government for urgent repairing works of the damaged MI Dam over Duichungthok stream at Namkalong-II, Khoupum valley.

The dam was damaged during the July 2017 flood, said the statement issued by union's secretary G Pamei.

The dam if not repaired in time will devastate over 40 hectares of paddy fields during the rainy season, said the union.
