Thoubal DC clears air on Yaithibi Loukol

Thoubal, April 09 2022: Clarifying that the government is simply putting fencing around the already acquired 435 acres of land at Yaithibi Loukol to prevent illegal encroachment, Thoubal district deputy commissioner Ahanthem Subhash has appealed to the public not to believe the misinformation being spread on social media.

Speaking to media persons at his office on Saturday, A Subhash explained that the government is only erecting fencing along the boundary of the already acquired land.

He urged the people to support the initiatives taken up by the government.

The DC further advised those illegal encroachers in reserved forest areas and state lands to vacate before eviction by the government.
