Imphal, October 08 2015: The second Chingsubam Akaba Memorial Journalists' Award will be given in three different categories this year.

One reporter each from print and electronic media and an Editor would be selected for this year's journalist awards, said a statement.

Intending Editors may submit 10 best editorials published between November 2014 and September 2015 , said a statement.

Editor's award would carry a cash award of Rs 20,000 and a memento, added the statement.

The reporters' awards for the promotion of work culture in Manipur would be selected through 10 best news reports of the reporter concerned published between November 2014 and September 2015, added the press release.

Intending reporters and Editors may submit their editorials, news cutouts and clippings duly certified by the Editor or the publisher concerned to the office of Pandam, Wahengbam Leikai and the office of Chingsubam Akaba Ningshing Lup, Khurai Soibam Leikai.

The awards would be handed over on November 9, added the press release.
