Imphal, August 08 2015 : The Thangmeiband United Club has urged all concerned not to host or organise any meeting or function of political parties in Thangmeiband until the JCILPS spearheaded movement is taken to its logical end.

In a statement, TUC appealed to all JCILPS sponsored bandh/strike enforcers not to cause harassment or disturbances to essential services providers including media persons during any bandh or strike imposed by JCILPS.

The club will also restrict participation of individuals under the influence of intoxicants, who try to mislead the agitation, in the protest.

It urged all concerned individuals not to resort to pelting of stones and targeting policemen on duty with slingshots during any strike or bandh.

At the same time, the TUC urged the police not to misbehave or abuse women protesters.
