Urging the Board of Secondary Education Manipur to reconsider its decision of scrapping Additional English in the list of MIL, the Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (Manipur and Nagaland) said the removal of Additional English would adversely affect the students of minority communities whose language/dialect are not yet introduced as MILs.
Further, a statement issued by the vice-president of LNKR, Angambou Chawang urged the BSEM authority to include Liangmai as one of the MILs immediately and introduced the same in the BSEM syllabus.
