Imphal, January 08 2019: JNIMS authority has clarified that the five daily wages were utilised from May 1 last year on exigency due to the strike of the outsource workers to run the emergency services at Medical ICU and oxygen manifold.

The clarification mentioned that it took some time to get ex-post facto administrative approval from the competent authorityof JNIMS and as such the order was issued on August 4 the same year.

A their service was essential inthese areas, they were given appointment order for a short period of only 6 months, it added.
