Imphal, December 07 2012: A rally was taken out on Imphal-Jiribam road demanding release of the two workers of HVS Construction Pvt Ltd abducted by the cadres of KCP-MC (Lamyanba Khuman) on the monetary demand of Rs 1.50 crore.

The rally staged by a huge number of people including workers of the private company was taken out from Patsoi to Khumbong.

The rally turned from there and culminated at Patsoi.

The rallyist while decrying the abduction urged the concerned to immediately release the two workers safely.

It may be mentioned that Hawaibam Suresh (22) of Khaidem Awang Leikai and Jallaluddin Barbuiya (27) of Hailakandi, Assam were abducted from Keithelmabi at around 6.30 pm of November 24 .

Meanwhile, a sit-in-protest was staged at Khumbong Bazar for the safe release of the duo.
