State logs 51 new dengue cases

Imphal, November 07 2024:
The dengue outbreak in the state remained a public health concern as 51 new cases were reported across several districts in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 2,153 as per data released by state health authorities.
Imphal West district reported 29 new cases, increasing its tally to 1513 .
Imphal East followed with 10 new cases, raising its count to 441 .
Churachandpur and Kangpokpi also saw notable increases, with 7 and 5 new cases respectively, which brought the infection tally to 22 and 18 .
With no new fatalities reported, the dengue toll in the state remains at five.
