Imphal, January 07 2025: Manipur Loumi Lup has appealed to the Agriculture Department to ensure that farmers are given easy access to seeds for seasonal crops, fertilizers and farming equipment through the respective District Agriculture Office.

A press release issued by H Ibobi Singh, secretary, Manipur Loumi Lup has pointed out that many farmers are facing difficulties as they have not yet received the winter crop seeds which ought to be distributed by the Agriculture Department through the District Agriculture Offices.

It also stressed on the poor irrigation facilities which hampers agricultural crop yield.
